Today, Darren’s toolkit is brimming with top-tier Nikon and Sony mirrorless gear, reflecting years of dedication and growth in his craft.

As a full-time Real Estate Photographer and Videographer with Open2View High Country, Darren captures homes in Benalla, Mansfield, Mt Buller, Euroa, Violet Town, Hotham, Dinner Plain, and Falls Creek. His stunning visuals help properties stand out in the competitive market. He also keeps his creative spark alive with occasional freelance work, including family portraits, events and product photography, and intimate weddings.

But there’s more to Darren than the lens. A professional fly fishing guide and FFI Certified Fly Casting Instructor, Darren spends his off-hours guiding clients on high-country adventures or sharing his retail expertise in fly fishing gear. His adventurous spirit has even taken him on multi-day hikes to remote rivers, carrying all his gear on his back for days at a time.

Darren’s fun-loving personality and down-to-earth nature shine in everything he does. When asked who he’d invite to dinner, he’d choose Robin Williams, Ryan Reynolds, and Tina Fey for endless laughter. His favourite superpower? Flying—because, really, what could top that?
